The project includes the construction of a new road section of approximately 3100 meters in length to serve the Aqaba University of Technology within the Aqaba Governorate and the lands located on either side of the road. The road consists of four lanes, with a width of 3.65 meters for each lane, in addition to a central island with a width of 4.5 meters and external shoulders with a width of 3 meters in each direction. The project includes the complete construction of earthworks and the construction of new pavement layers, including the granular sub-base layer, crushed aggregate base course, and a 7 cm thick asphalt layer. The project also includes the construction of a roundabout that connects the road (1) to be implemented in this tender with a small part of both roads (5) and (6) expected to be implemented in the future, as well as other works such as the construction of pipe and box culverts, road markings, road lighting, and other miscellaneous works
